Lightening Deals

A lightning deal is a time-bound (usually 7 hour) promotion where the item is featured with a "Lightning Deal" badge and on the Amazon Deals page.

Eligibility

• Products must have a sales history and minimum of 3-star rating

• Must be Prime

• Seller must have minimum of 5 ratings per month, with a rating of 3.5-star or above.

• Deals must include at least 65% of child variations for the clothing category

You can select the week for your Deal to run; however, you will not be able to select the date or time. Fees are usually £25 - £100 to run a deal.

Instructions

Here are the steps to take

1. Go to Advertising > Deals > "Create a new deal" blue button

2. You will see any deals eligible to run. This will be blank if none of your products are eligible (read here for more)

3. Select the deal that you want to run, and choose a deal week

4. Enter the Deal Price

5. Review & Submit

To check if the deal is approved / when it will run

1. Go to Advertising > Deals

2. The status of your deals will be on that dashboard. It should say "Upcoming" with the deal details in that dashboard if submitted correctly
